Guthrie in New York is seeking a Surgical Technician to support sterile technique and operate under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe patient care and efficient operating room flow.

You will maintain knowledge through in-service programs, handle instruments, apply sterile techniques, and participate in orientation to stay competent in all services offered by the surgical unit.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician School, or LPN with a current license in the state of practice, or completion of appropriate training for surgical technology.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
• May be grandfathered if certified prior to 2021.
