Job summary

Orofacial & Dental Implant Surgery in Winter Garden, FL is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the surgeon during consultations and surgeries, while enhancing patient satisfaction and office efficiency. You will provide pre- and post-operative care and help maintain safety standards and equipment.

You will seat patients, take vitals, monitor anesthesia as trained, obtain clearances, and accurately complete consent forms and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Basic CPR certification required.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant certification preferred.
• Vaccinations for Hepatitis B and TB as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals.
• Pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and obtain necessary medical clearances.
• Adhere to OSHA and regulatory guidelines; ensure radiation protection and proper imaging techniques.
• Document and maintain accurate records/charting; prepare and maintain equipment and instruments.
• Maintain rapport with patients, doctors, and team; ensure confidentiality and professionalism.
• Support patient experience and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
