You will work closely with surgeons and staff to ensure accurate documentation, proper equipment handling, and clear communication with patients.

Qualifications

• Basic CPR certification is required.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant certification is preferred.
• Hepatitis B vaccination and titer are required.
• TB vaccination and titer are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Adhere to OSHA and regulatory guidelines, ensuring radiation protection and proper radiographic exposure.
• Document and maintain accurate records/charting.
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments.
• Maintain rapport with patients and team members and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and discuss sensitive information only with appropriate personnel.
• Deliver an excellent patient experience and ensure comfort throughout visits.
• Be adaptable to take on special projects and additional responsibilities.
