Job summary

Pearland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the surgeon during consultations and operations, provide pre- and post-operative care, and help improve office efficiency in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include patient prep, vitals, adhering to OSHA guidelines, and maintaining accurate records. CPR certification is required; additional certifications are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Pearland, TX.

Qualifications

• Follow OSHA guidelines and office policies.

• CPR certification is required; other certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: assist doctor during surgeries and prep areas.
• Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and radiation protection standards.
• Document and maintain accurate records in the charting system.
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments.
• Maintain rapport with patients, doctors, and team members and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Protect patient and clinic information and discuss sensitive data only in proper settings.
• Enhance patient experience and comfort throughout visits.
• Adapt to additional tasks and flexible scheduling as needed.
