Job summary

The ideal candidate will have completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, at least one year of related experience, and a valid BLS certification to support sterile technique and patient safety

Qualifications

• Completion of a program or training for Surgical Technicians.
• Minimum of one year related experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technician with valid BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room by placing equipment and instruments as instructed.
• Assist with patient positioning and sterile preparation.
• Scrub hands, gown, and gloves; assist surgeon during procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment; perform autoclave checks.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operations.
• Maintain sterile supply inventory and cleanup after surgeries.
