• As a scrubbed member of the team, assists the surgeon by handling instruments, sponges, sutures, catheters and dressings.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates, cleans and sterilizes instruments for re-use according to hospital policy and procedure.
• Attends required in services, annual review and competency education programs.
• Completes daily assignments including restocking of supplies and room turnover for the next case.
