Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC is hiring a Surgical Technician to assist in surgical operations under supervision. You will help prepare the OR, manage instruments, and ensure sterility and safety in a fast-paced setting at our Wichita location.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and willingness to work 3 days per week with potential schedule adjustments. Prior OR experience is preferred; we foster a collaborative, patient-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of hospital main operating room experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in surgical operations under supervision of Surgeons, RNs and Surgical Assistants.
• Keeps operating room organized and sterile, prepares instruments and supplies.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and ensures equipment and gases are available.
• Operates/handles OR equipment and supports patient transfer as needed.
• Adheres to HIPAA, safety standards and company policies.
