Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program and a certification as a surgical technologist.
• Two years experience as a Surgical Technician is required.
• Must complete Surgical Technician Clinical Ladder packet for consideration for promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Operating Room to support the surgical team.
• Help in caring for patient safety and welfare in the OR.
• Prepare and care for surgical patients from infancy to geriatrics under supervision.
• Apply sterile aseptic technique and support surgeon’s procedures.
