Job summary

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of Surgical Technology program or equivalent practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and sterilizes supplies and equipment; sets up operating and instrument tables; maintains appropriate inventory.
• Assists surgeons and OR staff; retrieves supplies per request; participates in sponge/needle counts.
• Acts as scrub technician; maintains aseptic technique; supports in-service training and equipment maintenance.
