Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment with instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Perform counts of instruments and sponges to ensure patient safety.
• Handle, label, and maintain specimens per protocol.
• Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and restocking operating rooms after procedures.
