Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support sterile technique and assist during procedures in a fast-paced surgical suite. You will handle instruments, maintain the sterile field, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements include an OR Technician program or national certification, 2–4 years of related experience, BLS, and strong communication in English. On-site role with standard hospital shifts and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; OR Technician program preferred and/or national certification.
• BLS certification required; 2–4 years of experience, 5–8 preferred.
• English communication skills required; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile field and assists during procedures.
• Assists physician with equipment and specimen handling.
• Performs counts and ensures proper inventory of supplies.
• Cleans equipment before/after use and maintains logs per policy.
• Transports and positions patients; supports room preparation and turnover.
