Description

Surgical Technician at Providence St Vincent. This position is Full-Time (1.0 FTE) and Variable shift.

$8,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Relocation is also available for qualifying applicants.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with all members of the surgical team to provide direct patient care and optimize surgical outcomes.
  • Assists the surgeon and team during procedures by providing sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Maintains proper sterile technique during surgeries.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technology program with active certification by NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
  • Or completion of military or Public Health Service training with ongoing continuing education.
  • Or work experience in an ASC, hospital, or federal agency between Jan 2014-Jan 2017 with ongoing continuing education.
  • National Provider BLS certification upon hire from American Heart Association.
  • All education and certification requirements must be met at the time of hire.
