The East Campus OR cares for patients undergoing Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics (Joint Replacements, Sports medicine, and Oncology), Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic, and Interventional Pulmonology surgical procedures.
Staff work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts and cover call on off-shifts, weekends and holidays.
The Surgical Technician I is an individual who is certified and educated to perform surgical technology services that contribute to safe, quality, and fiscally responsible care of patients. This is an entry-level position requiring guidance and supervision, with responsibilities emerging from orientation to practice at the advanced beginner level.
Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently. Standing and movement required throughout most of the shift.
