CO1000 H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Surgical Technologist I to support the operating room team under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

You will scrub, manage instruments and supplies, and assist the surgeon and team to ensure high-quality patient care during procedures. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED; a CST certification with NBSTSA or NCCT and BLS are required. Shift is 4 x 10s with possible on-call.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Shift schedule: 4 x 10's; potential for call.

Summary Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist I acts as a scrub person who handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, anticipates the needs of the surgeon and surgical team and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care; Responsible for assisting with support services in the delivery of care to operative patients, including transportation, independent inventory management, environmental cleanliness and direct assistance to patients, visitors and staff. This role includes assignments in other ancillary roles within Perioperative Services.
