CO1000 H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist I to support the surgical team as a scrub person, preparing instruments and supplies and anticipating the surgeon's needs.

The role emphasizes patient safety and efficient procedures within Perioperative Services. Under RN direction, you will contribute to quality patient care, perform transportation and inventory tasks, and may take on additional duties across ancillary perioperative

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GED.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• CST licensure with NBSTSA or NCCT within 12 months of hire.

Summary Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist I acts as a scrub person who handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, anticipates the needs of the surgeon and surgical team and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care; Responsible for assisting with support services in the delivery of care to operative patients, including transportation, independent inventory management, environmental cleanliness and direct assistance to patients, visitors and staff. This role includes assignments in other ancillary roles within Perioperative Services.
