Job summary

Net2Source Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technician in Jackson, MI. The contract role operates on 3x12s shifts from 7a to 7:30p, with a call schedule of once per week and every sixth weekend. You will support the surgical team by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.

Required credentials include BLS from AHA, Certified Surgical Tech, a HS diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of solid ST experience. Local and travel pay rates are listed for this role.

Qualifications

• BLS from AHA is required.
• Certified Surgical Tech credential required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of strong, recent Surgical Tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle or manage surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during general procedures.
• Ensure understanding of the assigned procedure and anticipate the team’s needs.
• Provide patient prep, transport, building services and assist the surgical care team with patient care duties.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Pay Range:

Local: $45.00 - $48.00/hr. ($1,620.00 - $1,728.00/week)

Travel: $47.28 - $50.28/hr. ($1,702.00 - $1,810.00/week)

Job Summary:

• Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members, responsible for the handling or surgical instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during general surgical procedures.
• Ensures understanding of assigned surgical procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the assigned surgical team.
• Also provides service support related to patient preparation, patient transport, building services and assisting surgical care team with specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Required:

• BLS from AHA.
• Certified Surgical Tech.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1+ years of strong recent ST experience.
