Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during operations, including passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Position and prepare patients for surgery in accordance with safety standards.
• Monitor and anticipate surgical needs to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
• Assist in post-operative care and the sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Provide mentorship and training to new staff members.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Requirements:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Must hold a valid certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (18-week certificate programs not accepted).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting (hospital or surgery center experience preferred).
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility and be available for on-call duties.
• Strong ability to multitask, anticipate needs, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Competitive shift differentials for evening, weekend, and on-call shifts.
• Sign-on bonus available, paid out on the first paycheck.
• Relocation assistance considered on a case-by-case basis.
