Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
Assist surgeons and nurses during operations, including passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
Position and prepare patients for surgery in accordance with safety standards.
Monitor and anticipate surgical needs to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
Assist in post-operative care and the sterilization of surgical instruments.
Provide mentorship and training to new staff members.
Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Requirements:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Must hold a valid certification.
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (18-week certificate programs not accepted).
Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting (hospital or surgery center experience preferred).
Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility and be available for on-call duties.
Strong ability to multitask, anticipate needs, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Competitive shift differentials for evening, weekend, and on-call shifts.
Sign-on bonus available, paid out on the first paycheck.
Relocation assistance considered on a case-by-case basis.
