Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician for travel assignments in Washington. The role focuses on sterilizing surgical equipment, arranging instruments, and ensuring devices are functioning correctly.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement.
• One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist – only)
• Degree in biology related field which includes a degree /certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Sterilize surgical equipment and arrange surgical instruments.
• Adjust medical tools to ensure devices function properly.
