CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Surgical Tech for CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska. The role focuses on preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and supporting the surgical team to ensure patient safety and recovery.

You will collaborate with the OR team, maintain sterile technique, and respond promptly to on-call needs with a 30-minute response time. BLS certification and accredited training are required.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or on-the-job training as a scrub tech with minimum of 5 years' experience or completion of an accredited medical personnel program (CNA, Medical Assistant, LPN, EMT I/II, SPD tech) willing to do further training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Mansioni

• Prepare and sterilize all surgical supplies, instruments, solutions, and medications.
• Meticulously organize sterile tables and anticipate surgical team needs.
• Perform accurate counts, manage specimens, and uphold the highest sterile technique.
• Ensure a safe environment, report issues, and assist with OR turnaround.
• Provide essential on-call support with a 30-minute response time.
