Job summary

Pro Med, LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on aseptic technique, equipment management, and assisting with surgical procedures across patient populations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited surgical technologist program, NBSTSA certification, and ideally one year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduated from an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• One year of previous experience preferred.
• Maintains aseptic technique and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Observe aseptic technique while preparing and assisting with surgical procedures.
• Assist physician and scrub nurse under RN supervision.
• Ensure equipment readiness and room readiness before cases.
• Counts instruments and maintains sterile field.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
