Qualifications

• High School GED General Studies is required.
• High School Graduate General Studies is required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist is required.
• Technologist in Surgery-Certified is required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) is required upon hire.
• Must be able to take call shifts as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field throughout procedures.
• Prepare OR with instruments, equipment, and supplies as per procedure and team.
• Pass instruments, count items, handle specimens, and assist with patient positioning.
• Assist with intraoperative planning and setup per physician preference card.
• Promote patient safety and effective communication with team and caregivers.
• Assist with OR turnover and cleaning, restock, and equipment readiness.
