Job summary

You will prepare the OR, maintain sterile field, assist with specimen labeling and instrumentation, and support safe perioperative care.

Qualifications

• CST certification required.
• Prior surgical technician experience required.
• Experience with Autoclave for IUSS Immediate Use Steam Sterilization (IUSS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Maintains the sterile field during surgery.
• Assists with specimen labeling and recording in the Pathology log.
• Ensures all instruments and equipment are available for procedures.
• Supports aseptic technique and safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Positions patients for surgery and assists the OR team as needed.
• Follows universal precautions and infection control policies.
