Job summary

ProMedica in Memorial Hospital's Pain Clinic is seeking a Surgical Technician to support surgical cases. You will prepare for procedures, maintain sterile fields, and collaborate with the circulating nurse to ensure accurate counts of sponges, instruments and sharps.

The role is per diem with a variable shift across the United States. Required are a high school diploma (or equivalent), graduation from a Surgical Technology program, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and manage surgical cases in the Pain Clinic.
• Maintain sterile field integrity using aseptic technique.
• Assist the circulating nurse with counts of sponges, instruments and sharps.
