ProMedica in Toledo, OH, is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in the Surgery department. You will prepare for and manage surgical cases, maintain aseptic technique, and help keep accurate counts of sponges, instruments and sharps.

The role emphasizes teamwork with the circulating nurse. Requirements include high school graduate, completion of Surgical Technology or LPN program, CPR certification, and state licensure if applicable. Part-time schedule with days.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or a Licensed Practical Nurse educational program.
• CPR certification required.
• LPN licensure if hiring into the LPN capacity.

Responsabilités

• Prepare for and manage surgical cases.
• Maintain sterile field integrity using aseptic technique.
• Address any breaks in sterile technique quickly.
• Assist with keeping an accurate count of sponges, instruments, and sharps with the circulating nurse.
