Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of the HCA Healthcare network, seeks a Surgical Technologist to prepare the surgical suite and assist during operations. You’ll work with a highly skilled team using cutting-edge equipment, with predictable staffing and on‑call support to enable safe, high‑quality patient care.

You will scrub in, hand instruments, monitor equipment, and uphold sterile technique while contributing to a collaborative environment and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist.
• Current CST or completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BCLS provider.
• 2+ years of Cardiovascular experience in the role is required.
• Pedi or Adult CVOR experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high‑performing, collaborative team environment

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist
• Current CST or completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BCLS provider
• 2+ years of Cardiovascular experience in the role is required
• Pedi or Adult CVOR experience Required
