Qualifications

• At least 1 year of scrub experience is preferred.
• Certification required from NBSTSA, NCCT, or AAHA for surgical technologists.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursing care and surgical services under supervision.
• Maintain sterile technique to keep a sterile field in the OR.
• Assist with gowning, gloving, and positioning equipment and instruments.
• Pass sterile instruments to the surgical team during procedures.
• Prepare and organize supplies and equipment for procedures; check inventory.
