Job summary

Providence Hobbs Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to maintain the sterile field and assist the surgical team under RN supervision. You will pass instruments, sutures, and sponges and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures.

As a second scrub when needed, you will support circulating duties and contribute to a culture of patient-centered care. This posting covers multiple openings including Per Diem on-call daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS with American Heart Association on hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (New Mexico) or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• Certification in Surgical Technology upon hire.
• Operating Room training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sterile field and pass instruments, sutures, and sponges.
• Ensure aseptic technique to prevent contamination and infection.
• Serve as second scrub when needed and assist RN with circulating duties.
