Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse AND two years of scrub experience, OR completion of a Surgical Technology Program.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• One year of Surgical Technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgical team by functioning as a scrub person during procedures.
• Utilizes aseptic technique in the OR.
• Monitors sterile field and performs sponge, instrument, and needle counts.
