SAH Attleboro Surgical Center in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the OR team. You will prepare the operating room, gather sterile supplies, perform surgical counts, and assist in turnover while maintaining sterile technique.

Candidates should have CST certification, 1–5 years preferred, and knowledge of aseptic technique, Spaulding, Universal Protocol, and AORN practices. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience preferred in a surgical setting.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control, and sterilization.
• Familiarity with Spaulding Classification, Universal Protocol and AORN practices.
• Ability to prioritize OR equipment needs and maintain organization.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepares OR and gathers sterile supplies for procedures.
• Performs surgical counts and maintains sterile field.
• Assists in room turnover and instrument processing.
• Supports collaboration with circulating nurse and surgeon as needed.
• Ensures equipment is functioning properly and safely.
