Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist in the United States. The role involves scrubbing during procedures, instrument prep, and room turnover, with priority on patient safety and efficient workflow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of Surgical Technologist training, and at least two years of OR experience; ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred. Training from military or National Guard programs is also valued.

• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Non-Certified Surgical Technologist Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED certification
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course
• Two years previous operating room experience
• ASC experience preferred
• ORT certification preferred
• Successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the armed forces of the United States, the National Guard or in the United States Public Health Services
