Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification: State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (DORA); BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years CST experience and 6 months UCHealth CST experience.
• BLS/CPR card must be valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in productivity and quality management.
• Assists with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making.
• Assists with development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs responsibilities of underlying job; guides team on complex or novel issues.
• Within scope of job, uses critical thinking, decisive judgement and can work with minimal supervision.
