Kettering Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety. Completion of an accredited surgical technology program and BLS certification are required, with CST credential preferred.

No prior experience is mandatory, as clinical program training is acceptable. The role involves preparing instruments and equipment, managing supplies, and adhering to AST-recognized standards while supporting the hospital's mission

Formación

• Must have completed an accredited surgical technology program (certificate or associate degree) or AST-recognized equivalent.
• No prior experience required; clinical experience gained through the program is acceptable.
• BLS certification is required by start date.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with instruments, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Comply with protocols and regulatory standards, including the B Safe program.

Conocimientos

BLS Certification

1 year of experience as a surgical typ

Educación

Surgical technology certificate or associate degree (or AST-recognized equivalent)

NBSTSA CST credential (preferred)
