Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH seeks a full-time Surgical Technologist to support patient care in the operating room. You will prepare the OR, pass sterile instruments, and assist nursing staff and surgeons under supervision.

Qualifications

• NBSTA-accredited program or NCCT certification.
• Four years experience as a surgical technologist with a HS diploma.
• Four years on-the-job or military surgical tech training with HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Label and handle patient specimens.
• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic technique.
• Assist in procedures and provide instruments during surgery.
• Ensure infection control and safety practices.
• Prepare OR table and scrub for surgeries.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative care as directed.
