Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla is seeking an OR Tech to support surgical services on a full-time, 12-hour shift schedule. We operate across 19 ORs and 4 Cardiac ORs, including trauma cases, in a magnet-designated facility with strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Eligible candidates have 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience, current BLS, and strong communication and teamwork abilities; CST certification is preferred. Competitive pay and relocation incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Position Pay Range: $34.97-$50.69/hour
