St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, seeks a Per Diem Surgical Technician for night shifts. In this role, you will assist with surgical instruments in the OB/OR, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and surgeon, contributing to the surgical team's effectiveness.

The ideal candidate should have graduated from an Allied Health Program and possess either 6 months of OB/OR experience or 1 year of OR experience. BLS/CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Allied Health Program.
• 6 months OB/OR or 1 year OR experience required.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical instruments in the OB/OR.
• Function under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and surgeon.

The Surgical Technician assists with surgical instruments in the OB/OR based on procedure performed, standards, guidelines, and policies set for the unit. He/she functions under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and surgeon.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of Allied Health Program
• Experience: 6 months OB/OR or 1 year OR experience
• License: None
• Certification: BLS/CPR (American Heart Association)
