Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking Surgical Tech Interns to join the team under the supervision of a precepting Surgical Technologist. The Intern will help provide a safe, efficient environment for the surgical patient and staff by adhering to Aspirus standards and sterile technique.

The program offers Intern I (1st year) and Intern II (2nd year) tracks, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in Sterile Processing and the OR.

Qualifications

• Students enrolled in a Surgical Technologist program.
• Surgical Tech Intern I - 1st year students.
• Surgical Tech Intern II - 2nd year students.
• Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST STUDENTS our team!

The Surgical Tech Intern works under the direct supervision of a precepting Surgical Technologist. As an Intern, you will collaborate with the precepting Surgical Technologist to provide a safe, efficient environment for the surgical patient and staff by working in accordance with the Aspirus standards of practice and by adhering to Aspirus policies, procedures, universal precautions, and sterile technique.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Students who are currently enrolled in a Surgical Technologist program.
• Surgical Tech Intern I - 1st year students
• Surgical Tech Intern II - 2nd year student
• Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
  
  

WHAT TO EXPECT:

HOURS: Flexible, occasional status; will work with student hours.

PAY RATE: Intern I: $16.00/Hour, Intern II: $17.00/Hour
