Qualifications

• Be a current Surgical Technology student in good standing and progressing toward program completion.
• Initiation of internship requires application to St. Joseph’s Health with a recommendation letter.
• Satisfactory program attendance to maintain internship status.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical support to perioperative team during surgeries.
• Serve as primary scrub person handling instrumentation, supplies and equipment.
• Assist CST and RN with intraoperative needs and room setup.
• Participate in internship activities and progress toward CST certification.
