Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current certification from an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a health care or military medical setting is required.
• Meets requirements for applicable state(s) of engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provides intra-operative patient care as directed by leadership.
• Anticipates surgeon’s needs for supplies, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean operating room suite.
• Assists and ensures documentation and records are kept.
• Performs essential duties appropriate to role and participates in quality improvement.

Education
