Job summary

Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a Surgical Tech Intern to join our team. This paid position offers hands-on exposure in Sterile Processing for Intern I and in the OR for Intern II, with opportunities to enhance skills and understand hospital workflows.

Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a SURGICAL TECH INTERN to join our team!

ELIGIBILITY:

• Students who are currently enrolled in a Surgical Technologist program.
• Surgical Tech Intern I - 1st year students
• Surgical Tech Intern II - 2nd year student
• Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Surgical Tech Intern I will work in Sterile Processing.
• Sterile Tech Intern II will work in the OR.
• Opportunities to enhance skills. Increased understanding of processes.
• Paid position.
• Many students who are interns accept a technologist role before graduation.

HOURS:

Flexible, occasional status; will work with student hours.

PAY RATE:

Intern I: $16.00/Hour, Intern II: $17.00/Hour
