Aspirus Medford Hospital is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to join the ED team in Medford, WI. The role supports clerical tasks and delivers direct patient care under licensed staff supervision.

Hours are part-time or 0.7 FTE with 8/12-hour PM/Night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. BLS certification is required, with preferred nursing program or CNA/EMT training; prior acute care experience is a plus.

• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited MA program; enrolled in an approved nursing program; CNA or EMT basic course required.

in Medford, WI is seeking an EMERGENCY ROOM TECHNICIAN to join our team!

The Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) is a member of the patient care team that provides clerical duties and direct patient care in the Emergency Department under the direction of the Department Director, licensed nursing staff and providers. They strive to meet the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.

Hours

Part Time or .7 FTE, 56 hours every pay period. 8/12-hour shifts, PM/Night rotation, every other weekend, holiday rotation

Experience/Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MA program; enrolled in an approved nursing program, having completed the basic nursing arts required; certified nursing assistant or have completed the EMT basic course is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Education in medical terminology courses and basic computer course is preferred.
• Experience in patient care in a clinic, acute care hospital or ambulance is required.
• Six (6) months' experience in an acute care hospital is preferred.
