Position Summary

Department: DPH Surgery

About DPH Surgery Services

• Located on the second floor of Tower A, providing 24/7 comprehensive surgical care
• Offers intraoperative services for orthopedic, neurological, general, vascular, gynecological, urologic, ENT, and robotic surgeries in 10 OR suites

Responsibilities

Demonstrate understanding of sterile techniques and operate specialized instruments and equipment for various procedures. Maintain surgical field, assist with instrument counts, handle specimens, and collaborate with surgeons and team members to ensure efficient surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or Orlando Health training program
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
• At least 4 years of surgical tech experience, with CST certification and 2 years of experience possibly substituting for this requirement
