Job summary

Cottage Health is seeking a Surgical Tech II for the Surgery department in California. The role includes assisting with peri-operative patient care, gathering equipment, and ensuring proper handling of specialty equipment while promoting efficient teamwork.

Required are a certified surgical technician program or equivalent, BLS, and at least one year of scrub tech experience, with preferred experience at Cottage Health Systems. Total rewards are offered as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from certified surgical technician program, military program equivalence, or one year of similar duties.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• One year of scrub tech experience or CST, with ability to perform independently in all service lines.

• Gather equipment and supplies and ensure proper handling of specialty equipment.
