Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operative procedures by handling instruments, supplies and equipment and maintaining a sterile field. You will anticipate the surgeon's needs and contribute to quality patient care while supporting cost containment and departmental efficiency.

Requirements include a minimum 1 year of experience, a Surgical Technologist program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Post high school education, certification or diploma required.
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, Military Operating Room Specialist course or Froedtert Health apprentice program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during the surgical procedure.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain the sterile field and support department efficiency and cost containment.
