Job summary

Azspineandjoint in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time, on-site role. You will assist in orthopedic surgeries, set up sterile fields, and maintain instrumentation under physician and RN supervision. Monday–Friday with no call and no weekend requirements.

Preferred candidates have CST certification (or grandfathered) and 1–2 years OR experience, plus Basic Life Support certification. We offer a competitive benefits package and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST certification, or based on state regulations, may be grandfathered in, without being certified.
• Prefer 1–2 years clinical experience in an operating room setting. May accept 0–2 years in related field.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Sets up the sterile field and assists surgeons during operations.
• Follows state and federal regulations when attending to patients.
• Assists with patient transfer, positioning, and specimen preparation.
• Maintains inventory and oversees decontamination and sterilization processes.

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program

CST certification or grandfathered in
