Timberlake-Surgery-Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center in Chesterfield, MO. The role requires CST certification or eligibility, and typically 1–2 years of operating room experience, with CPR/BLS training.

JOB TITLE: Certified Surgical Tech

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Surgical Technician needed for fast paced ASC. Must be certified and have minimum 2 years experience. Monday through Friday. CPR required.
Surgical technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Surgical technologists work in clean, well-lighted, well-ventilated environments. Must stand for long periods and remain alert during operations. At times may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpleasant sights, odors, and materials.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Occasional evening and/ or weekend work.
