Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center seeks a Surgical Tech for a full-time, day-shift role. The individual will assist in the operating room, support the healthcare team, and ensure patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have completed a surgical technologist program, hold (or be pursuing) certification, and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills. This position is part of Universal Health Services’ hospital network and emphasizes safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a surgical technologist program.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.

Job Overview

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent. Successful completion of surgical technologist course from an accredited program.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
