Job summary

Orlando Health is looking for a Surgical Technologist to join their team at the new Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital opening in Summer 2026. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, graduate from an accredited surgical technology program, and possess national certification as a Surgical Technologist. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques, and communicating with the surgical team. Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a recognized Surgical Technology program.
• Requires national certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Must maintain current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures with knowledge of sterile techniques.
• Conduct sponge, needle and instrument counts for safety.
• Communicate the patient's condition to the surgical team.
• Position and drape the patient appropriately for procedures.
