Orlando Health is looking for a Surgical Technologist to join their team at the new Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital opening in Summer 2026. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, graduate from an accredited surgical technology program, and possess national certification as a Surgical Technologist. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques, and communicating with the surgical team. Qualifications
Must have graduated from a recognized Surgical Technology program.
Requires national certification as a Surgical Technologist.
Must maintain current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
Responsibilities
Assist in surgical procedures with knowledge of sterile techniques.
Conduct sponge, needle and instrument counts for safety.
Communicate the patient's condition to the surgical team.
Position and drape the patient appropriately for procedures.
