Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology.
• Certification required as CST or TS-C.
• A minimum of 2 years of surgical technology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and evaluate classroom and clinical instruction to support orientation and ongoing educational needs in the Operating Room.
• Provide education, guidance, direction and assistance to the patient care team to attain safe, high-quality care.
• Analyze complex patient care situations and consult with health care team members to improve educational outcomes.
• Serve as a resource for staff development including supervisors, leads, and students within the unit/department.
