Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the step-by-step progress of specific surgical procedures.
• Anticipates surgeon's needs in regards to instrumentation, sutures, sponges.
• Prepares and maintains a sterile field.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Graduated from an accredited Operating Room Technician Program

National Surgical Technician certification recommended/required

Current BLS (AHA) certification
