Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology with one year OR experience preferred.
• Surgical Technology certification preferred
• Good communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist/LPN performs procedures within their scope of practice, passing instruments, sutures, sponges and other sterile equipment.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and ensures safe, efficient instrumentation handling.
